What Folks Are Saying

Disappointed with crafters

I have been attending the Christmas Crossroads show for years and every year the show gets smaller and the crafts are of lower quality. I used to find unique, well-made items there...not anymore. And all the crafts are not handmade. I see many items that I also see in stores. I will not be attending this year.

Crafter

My family drives several hours to bring quality handcrafted items to this show. We find it very dishearting in the lines that are formed at the "buy and sell" booths such as one of the primitive booths that say they make all their potpourri and such. They have the committee fooled that they actually make their stuff. Please come and sort out us handcrafters, there is still plenty of good left in this show !

Really disappointing

I have attended the Christmas Crossroads craft show for several years now, and have noticed there are less and less vendors every year, and more repetition of merchandise. Suggestion, maybe the "Handmade Only" restriction should be waived to allow for more variety & more unique items to be brought in, at least experiment for one year. I may still attend this year, but I won't go out of my way to see it.

I

It took me 2 tries to be accepted into this show. It is very difficult for judges to assess "handcrafted", but I believe this group does an excellent job to bring quality to the show. MY fused glass jewelry and glass art is all made in MY studio and the customers should be very happy with the selection. Come to the show, you won't be disappointed!
