Be sure to check how much the store charges for shipping before placing your order.

Also check out the shops return policy. If an item is delivered damaged, what can you do about it. This goes hand in hand with the shipping costs. If the furniture store delivers your new table, unpacks it, and checks it for damages, you'll be in much better shape if there's something wrong. They may even load it right back up and take it back without you having to do anything. If they just drop off your table in a crate, and move on to their next stop, you'll have a much harder time replacing your damaged table.
